Consider joining our dollars a day program in support of the Tongass!

Covering 17 million acres, over 1,000 islands, and stretching an area the length of Florida, the Tongass is America’s largest National Forest.

Our guests come to SE Alaska to experience the same treasure that defines our way of life here: a home to healthy, abundant fish and wildlife, and a great place for recreation like hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, boating, and camping.

We encourage our guests to participate in our Two Dollars a Day for the Tongass program. Most of our guests donate two dollars for each day of their trip into this Southeast Alaskan treasure. Our businesses distribute those donations among Alaskan organizations that work for the conservation of the Tongass National Forest.

For good reason, visitors choose companies who practice responsible stewardship in the areas they operate. The Two Dollars a Day conservation program can help the habitat and wildlife we all enjoy by putting money toward conservation efforts. The program allows businesses to help preserve the wild lands of the Tongass for all our future use by "passing through" the donations.

The Two Dollars a Day conservation program distinguishes businesses by offering their guests the opportunity to directly contribute to the protection of our outdoor heritage.

As tourism continues to play an increasingly dominant role in our economy, we need to preserve our outdoor heritage so that the very things our guests come to see, and that we value for our unique lifestyle, continue to provide these benefits for us all.
